I have been studying yoga since 1996 while working in a fast paced corporate environment. I found that yoga released tight areas in my body and calmed my mind. As my practice grew consistent I noticed how well yoga breathing served me off the mat as well as on the mat. In my daily life, yoga taught me how to calm my mind through breath and bring stillness during stressful times. In short, there were fewer knee-jerk reactions to discomfort, which enabled me to make more mindful decisions. Does that resonate with you?
I developed a passion for yoga and knew that someday I would want to share its many benefits through instructing. That dream became a reality in 2018 when I took the first step by completing the 200-hour yoga teacher training course. Finally, two years later I was able to leave the corporate world to share my passion for yoga and its many benefits with others. Currently, I am a 500 hr certified yoga teacher. In my class, I aim to help you learn to bring ease and mobility to your body and calm your mind.
